VOICE NAVIGATION (WAZE)
"I can't download the voice installation file / I can't find the site screen from which to download the file anymore... what can I do?"
Once the purchase has been made, on the order confirmation screen on the website, you will find the PDF file to download directly to your smartphone. If you use Android it should download it to your "Downloads" folder. If, on the other hand, you have iOS, make sure you have downloaded the file via the default "Safari" browser: the download should start and when it is finished, you can open it by clicking on the downward pointing arrow next to the address bar. If you can't find the button to open your download in your browser, check your "Files" folder.
Can't start the download?
If you are unable to download the file or can no longer find the page from which to download it, retrieve the order confirmation email you received at your email address: inside you will also find the link to re-download your item.
Can't find the email?
If you use Gmail, check PROMOTIONS or SPAM.
If you use iCloud check your email directly from www.icloud.com and search in the various folders.
If you use other emails, make sure your mailbox is not full; often has space problems and when it fills up you no longer receive emails.
Also check in the various folders that could have different names (eg "Other", etc.).
Some users enter their email incorrectly during the purchase by writing for example .con instead of .com and for this reason they do not receive the email to download the article.
If you think you entered your email incorrectly during the purchase, or you realized that your email was full before placing the order or after checking all possible folders as suggested above, contact us .
Can't you download the file even from the email you received?
It may happen that you are unable to download the file by clicking on it from the order confirmation email or that strange codes appear: you are probably doing it from the browser on your phone (you are probably using Google Chrome for smartphones or you are using the browser integrated into the inside Instagram).
You have two ways to solve it:
- Download the file by accessing your mailbox from Safari
- Download the file by accessing your mailbox from the dedicated app (e.g. Gmail or others)
"Even though i have installed and selected the purchased item, the phrases are played in Waze's default voice, instead of the purchased character's voice. How can I fix the problem?"
If this happens, it is likely that Waze is making internal changes or maintenance to their servers, causing them to slow down momentarily.

"I added the item to my cart, but when I click on "Checkout" it says my cart is empty. What can I do?"
If this problem occurs, clear your browser's cache and browsing data, then close everything and try again.

"I am trying to purchase an item from the site with a prepaid card but the system does not accept it.
The only current payment methods accepted are Credit Card or PayPal. Prepaid cards are not accepted. By credit card we don't necessarily mean the card with embossed numbers, but also a simple debit card. Our system therefore accepts prepaid cards directly.
If you have a prepaid card and want to use it to purchase on our site, the only way is to create a PayPal account and link your prepaid card to it. Then go back to our site and proceed with the purchase with PayPal, entering your login.
"I made the purchase, he deducted the money from my card but I can't find where to download the file. I also checked my email, INCOMING MAIL, SPAM and PROMOTIONS, but there is no trace of the email. What do I have to do?"
It could be that your order was not successful because you probably did not complete the last step, i.e. confirming the order with the "SEND ORDER" button at the bottom, immediately after entering the payment data . Often it also happens to other people who see the amount deducted from their card with a notification from their bank, believing that the order has been successful, thus exiting the page, without going to the bottom of clicking "SEND ORDER". In reality, the notification you received with the amount deducted from your card is a pre-authorization of the amount, but in practice it is not deducted from the card unless the order is confirmed. In fact, you will notice that it will be reversed and credited back to your card.
Try to repeat the purchase, this time clicking on "SEND ORDER" after entering the payment data.

"I downloaded the pdf file but it says "cannot open the file". What should I do?"
If you experience this problem you are probably using Android and/or you are trying to open the file directly from the browser.
If you're sure you've downloaded the file to your phone, close your browser and go directly to your phone's "Downloads" folder and try opening it from there. If it shows you the same message, you probably don't have the right pdf reader: download " Google PDF Viewer " and open your pdf with it.
How do I install the purchased item on Waze?"
Once the PDF file is downloaded, if you're using iOS simply open it, scroll down and click on "INSTALL": at that point it will open a screen where you will have to click on "OPEN IN APP". It will open the app for you and directly install the voice on your Waze.
For Android the procedure is the same, but if the "INSTALL" button is not clickable, make sure you have opened the pdf file with " Google PDF Viewer " or equivalent, as suggested at the bottom of the pdf.
Have you downloaded Google PDF Viewer, but you still can't click the pdf buttons on Android?
100% make sure you open the pdf with the Google PDF Viewer application. Go to your phone's Download folder and from there open the pdf concerned with the application we suggest. Often the icons of the various pdf readers are very similar and it is easy to go wrong. You should have the "Open with" option and have a list of pdf readers installed on your device that you can select to open the file.
If you don't succeed go to your phone settings - apps and notifications - show all apps, select Google PDF Viewer - advanced and scroll to open as default and make sure the app is set as the default reader to open pdf files.
If you still don't succeed, remove all pdf readers from your phone that are not Google PDF Viewers and repeat the file opening operation.
The "OPEN IN APP" button does not appear, but you only download Waze from the Apple Store or Google Play, even though you have already installed it?
ok, keep calm, first make sure you're performing the operation from a mobile device and not from a PC.
Try opening the pdf with different pdf reader from your device and see if it fixes.
If that doesn't solve it, you can uninstall Waze from your device, open the pdf, click on "INSTALL" and re-download it from the stores on the screen that appears. Next you should be able to have the voice already installed.
"Does it work on both Android and iOS?"

"Does it work on Android Auto / Apple CarPlay too?"
Yes, if the voice is installed on Waze of your smartphone and the latter is connected to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, yes,
"Is the cost I see a subscription or once I download the voice do I have it forever?
" No, our service is not subscription-based; once purchased, the item will remain in your Waze account and you can always use it.
"If I have to change phones, do i lose the installed voices?"
No , just re-download Waze on the new device, with the same account as your old device, as the voice is not physically installed on your device, but on your Waze account.
"The phrase relating to entering/exiting the area subject to electronic average speed control is played by default voice. Why? "
This is the only sentence that Waze does not allow you to modify, thus played it in the original language by the default voice . This is also indicated in the item description during the purchase. Unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to add this sentence and we are waiting for Waze to implement this feature. If this is possible, you will automatically receive the update.
